Answers to the questions consultants ask before they sign up — and the ones that come up in the first week of using the workspace.
The free trial unlocks the full Professional plan: unlimited document generation across the Document Studio, Legal Workshop, Authority Engine, and Blueprint Hub; AI polish and inline refining; project, client, and invoice management; and DOCX, PDF, and PPTX exports. No credit card is required to start. You can downgrade to Starter or cancel at any point during the trial without being charged.
If you do not select a paid plan, your account automatically moves to Starter, which allows three lifetime documents and keeps everything you already generated read-only. Nothing is deleted. You can upgrade to Professional later and continue where you left off.
Yes. From Settings → Billing you can switch between monthly and annual at any time. Annual billing is a flat 20% discount and is charged once on the renewal date. When switching mid-cycle, the unused portion of the current plan is prorated against the new one.
Professional is per-seat. For teams of five or more we offer a discounted Agency tier with shared client and project access, role-based permissions, and a single billing entity. Contact sales@consultsuitepro.com for a quote.
Settings → Billing → Cancel subscription. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. Your documents remain accessible and exportable on the free Starter tier after cancellation; nothing is deleted.
Proposals, scope of work, inception reports, mid-term reports, final reports, concept notes, policy briefs, executive summaries, white papers, case studies, and bespoke documents from a free-form brief. Each type ships with a structured brief form that captures the inputs an experienced consultant would gather before drafting.
Drafting quality is bounded by the quality of the brief. The brief form captures audience, objective, evidence base, length, tone, and any binding constraints. Drafts that begin from a structured brief are dramatically less generic than drafts from a one-line prompt.
Yes. Every generated document opens in a rich editor with headings, lists, tables, callouts, and inline formatting. The Polish tool rewrites a paragraph for clarity or tone; the Refine tool rewrites a selection against a user instruction ("make this more direct," "add a counter-argument," "shorten by half").
DOCX, PDF, and PPTX from any document. PDF exports respect your Brand Kit — logo, colours, fonts, and a signature block — so client-facing output looks like it came from your firm, not a generic template.
No. The Legal Workshop accelerates contract drafting and review and surfaces standard risk patterns, but it is not legal advice. Every meaningful contract should be reviewed by a qualified lawyer in the relevant jurisdiction before signature. See the Disclaimer page for the full position.
Uploaded or pasted contracts are parsed against a library of standard consulting clauses (IP, indemnity, liability cap, termination, payment terms, confidentiality, non-compete) and scored against a default risk profile. Issues are surfaced inline with severity, the offending clause text, and a suggested redline. You decide what to accept.
Yes. The default library covers the common consulting clauses, but you can add, edit, and version your own clauses, group them by engagement type, and pin firm-preferred wording so future drafts pick it up automatically.
Yes. Generated invoices can be emailed to a client contact directly from the platform with a tracked link. The platform records when the invoice was opened, when payment was promised, and when it cleared.
Yes. Each invoice supports configurable tax lines (VAT, GST, sales tax, withholding) and stores client-specific tax IDs. The platform does not file your taxes — that remains your accountant's job — but the invoice and ledger exports are formatted for direct upload to most accounting tools.
Yes. Project-level expenses (travel, subcontractor fees, software, per diems) can be logged, marked reimbursable, attached to an invoice as a line item, and exported in a client-ready statement of expenses.
We use GPT-5.2 for initial drafting (best at structured long-form output) and Gemini 3 Flash for polish and refinement (best at fast targeted edits). Both run through the Lovable AI Gateway, which provides usage controls and routing without us having to hold direct provider API keys.
No. Documents, briefs, contracts, client lists, and project data are isolated to your account and are not used to train general-purpose models. Our model providers operate under zero-data-retention terms for the content we send them.
Account deletion removes your personal data and all uploaded content within 30 days, except where retention is legally required (e.g. billing records, which are kept for seven years). You can export everything to standard formats before deletion.
All data is stored on encrypted cloud infrastructure with AES-256 at rest and TLS 1.2+ in transit. Access is governed by row-level security policies that scope every database query to the authenticated user. We are working toward SOC 2 Type II.
SSO via Google is available on all plans. SAML SSO for enterprise providers (Okta, Azure AD, OneLogin) is available on the Agency tier.
Primary infrastructure is hosted in EU and US regions, with data residency selectable on the Agency tier. The default region for new accounts is the closest to your billing address.
Support is staffed by people who have worked in consulting. Expect a useful reply within one business day, not a chatbot loop.
