Roadmap
What's built, what's coming, what isn't
ConsultSuite Pro is in early access. This page describes the product as it actually stands — nothing in the shipped list is a mock-up, and nothing in the planned list has a date attached, because dates given this early are usually fiction. For what changed recently, see the changelog.
Shipped
11 itemsMulti-tenant foundation
Firms, members, invitations and role-based access, with row-level security on every table so isolation is enforced by the database rather than by application code.
Clients, engagements, deliverables and tasks
The full delivery spine: client records and contacts, engagements with budgets and teams, deliverables with owners and due dates, Kanban task boards, and per-engagement risk registers.
Partner dashboard
Weighted pipeline, utilisation, budget burn across the portfolio, engagement health scoring and a Needs attention list.
Document studio with grounded AI
Sixteen document types, a guided brief per type, a rich editor, and AI edits delivered as accept-or-reject diffs. Export to PDF and DOCX.
Knowledge library
Case studies, methodologies and reusable proposal sections with reuse tracking, used as source material for every draft.
Legal workshop
NDA and SOW drafting from templates, plus AI contract review that positions clauses as standard, aggressive or missing.
Pipeline, proposals and win/loss
Drag-and-drop pipeline, bid/no-bid scoring, a proposal builder that composes from the library, an RFP compliance matrix, and win/loss analytics with revenue forecasting.
Time, rates, invoicing and finance
Weekly timesheet grid and live timer, three-level rate-card resolution, an invoice generator that pulls unbilled work, and utilisation, realisation and margin reporting.
Client portal
Per-client branded portals with magic-link sign-in, published deliverables, approvals, invoices and messaging. Unlimited free viewers on every plan.
Authority studio, research lab and meetings
Repurposing delivered work into anonymised thought leadership; SWOT, PESTLE and other framework canvases with document analysis; meeting agendas, minutes, decisions and action items.
Commercial layer
Three plans with server-enforced entitlements, seat management, subscription billing, firm settings, brand kit and the onboarding wizard.
In progress
4 itemsDeliverable versioning in the portal
Publishing a revised deliverable currently replaces what the client sees. We are adding a visible version history so clients can see what changed between rounds, and when.
Notifications and digests
In-app notifications exist in places. We are consolidating them into one system with an opt-in daily or weekly email digest per person, rather than notifying on everything.
Expense capture
Expenses can be invoiced but not yet captured with receipts. Receipt upload, categorisation and per-engagement expense policy are being built now.
Finance exports
CSV export exists for invoices and time. A fuller export set, aligned to what accountants actually ask for, is in progress for the Practice plan.
Planned
6 itemsAccounting integrations
Two-way sync with Xero and QuickBooks for invoices and payment status, so invoicing stops being double entry.
Calendar integration
Google and Microsoft calendar sync for meetings, so a meeting scheduled in the app appears where people actually look.
Custom roles
A per-capability permission matrix for Practice-plan firms with governance requirements beyond Owner/Admin/Member/Viewer.
Custom portal domains
Serving a client portal from a firm's own domain, with certificate provisioning handled for you.
Public API and webhooks
A documented API over engagements, deliverables, time and invoices, with webhooks for status changes.
Formal security assurance
An independent penetration test first, then a SOC 2 Type I programme. We will not claim either before it is done — see the security page.
Deliberately not doing
3 itemsCharging per client or per portal viewer
The portal is the point. Metering it would make firms ration the thing that makes their clients trust them.
A generic AI writing assistant
There are dozens, they are free, and they do not know your firm. Our drafting only exists because it is grounded in your own delivered work.
An enterprise tier with bespoke deployment
We are built for firms of roughly 3 to 30 people. Serving 500-person consultancies would change the product for everyone else.
